We had few things happen over last weekend. It was Bees' birthday party from midday to 4pm on the Saturday. The kids came over and so did 1 teacher. Bees invited her class teacher too and it was wonderful of her to turn up. So the kids generally jumped about and shouted and had lots of fun. Jamie was playing with the kids at the beginning, then went off to read through the middle of it all and finally found the 2 boys with whom he played, racing Jamie's cars up and down the hall. They had Pass the Parcel. We were going to do a couple more games but the kids seemed to be enjoying just messing about. Some were putting on make up and others jumping on the trampoline. It was quite cool outside but a nice roaring fire meant inside was very warm. The cake was a 'B' for Bees or Birthday. You choose.
On Monday it was actually Bee's birthday. I got her a scooter. She really wanted it man and she's been scootering to and from school every day this week. Good on her. We also had a nice quake or 2 again wrecking even more of Christchurch. More pictures here.
